January Challenge
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Do you make a New Year's resolution and before the end of the month you have broken it?
This year make a resolution that will keep for an eternity. Make a commitment to develop a closer relationship with God. For example, read the bible on a daily basis, join a bible class, or devote time to God each day by just talking to Him. There is no one better to have a conversation with than our heavenly Father.
Make a resolution this year to remove a continous habit from your life, which God does not approve of. For example, using swear words, lying, or not forgiving someone. Make a plan to end the habit and begin noticing the changes in your life.
It will not be easy. Therefore, ask God for guidance and He will work through you to make positive changes in your life. Take time to reflect over 2011 and make the choice to improve your life for the better through Christ.
Lady Golfers
Attention Ladies: A small group of lady golfers are getting together to enjoy the game of golf and some fellowship. They schedule play when most can get together, weekly or every two weeks - whatever works for most! If any ladies are interested in playing golf, contact Kari Garell, Carolyn Hobbs, Mandy Faulkner or Susan Mothershead.
