One of our newest ministries, the goal is to have a group of individuals to be a constant voice to God on a regular basis here at RCofC. Four to eight prayer warriors pray as a group each Sunday morning in an isolated room during each worship service. They pray for those who are sick, the various needs of the church and its members, upcoming events, etc. They pray for the actual worship & message of the morning and for those in the pews who may be going through tough times including sickness, job loss, relationship issues, financial distress, etc. They pray for those who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that God would speak to them as they listen to the message.
At the end of the service, the prayer team joins the minister at the front of the church for the alter call to accept anyone who may come forward with prayer requests, who may want to accept Christ or those who want to join our congregation.
