Music and drama are a big part of young people’s lives.
1K5 is our teen drama group.
Under the direction of Jackie Cloude, this group presents the truth of Christ through dance, music and drama. They seek to encourage one another as well as the audience in giving praise and honor to God in much the same way as the great King Solomon.
The name, 1K5, comes from the scripture found in 1 Kings 4:32 where King Solomon’s wisdom and insight into God’s creation is described. In it we find that Solomon’s songs numbered “one thousand and five”—hence 1K5.
